What a joyful…..comic strip.
C’mon, Mr. Gilbert!!
My biggest fear is my little guy will “run away” and end up like this.
David , put the " joint ’ down and get the lovable Buckles back in Phil and Jills graces and in their warm house . , please .
Poor Buckles. And his people are frantic.
David, please, I can’t stand it anymore, Buckles needs to go home.
The problem with this arc is that its outcome is predestined. In the meantime, …
I will always have room for you Buckles down here in Royal Palm
Anybody reminded of Don Bluth’s “Banjo the Woodpile Cat” from this strip?
Happy to take over anytime…….
Bringing on the newspaper doesn’t look so bad now, eh Buckles?
I’m a fairly new reader to this strip but already love it. My take on this storyline is that Buckles will learn a valuable lesson but along the way will meet others in his situation. I also think his “owners” will learn more tolerance in his absence. Let’s see where Mr. Gilbert takes us on his journey…
I find sad arcs easier to take when they still have punchlines.
Best to just go home, Buckles…
This breaks my heart because I know this is true with a lot of dogs and cats : (
