My biggest fear is my little guy will “run away” and end up like this.

Poor Buckles. And his people are frantic.

I’m a fairly new reader to this strip but already love it. My take on this storyline is that Buckles will learn a valuable lesson but along the way will meet others in his situation. I also think his “owners” will learn more tolerance in his absence. Let’s see where Mr. Gilbert takes us on his journey…

I find sad arcs easier to take when they still have punchlines.
