Broomie has been 1500 years old for about 50 years now.

I was once asked to use “dispenser” in a sentence. I replied, “Susan Silverman & Hawk get angry whenever they hear anyone dis Spenser”!

Then there a flash and smoke and the smell of singed feathers.

Ouch. With friends like these, who needs enemies.

Her brain has the ability to access some force unknown to science to do her “zaps” and other forms of magic, like flying. I doubt an AI could do that – and if it could, it wouldn’t need us around. (Hopefully, in that case, it would look around and decide to move on to better pastures, leaving us with the messed up world we have created).

She’d zap him but he’s leaning against her favorite tree.

just can’t resist the sarcastic digs at Broom-Hilda. And he gets a zap almost every time.
