Her magic works on just about everything, but alas not Mother Nature.
It was a good idea in theory, Gaylord!
What? She can’t change climate…oh never mind.
BROOMY is losing her grip…sigh
“…her powers are modest…”
She, on the other hand, is not.
As Lincoln once said, “Just because you call a cow’s tail a leg, doesn’t mean it is”.
I’m so tired of this unusually cold spring..
Pretty much like Spring in Kansas City MO during the 1960s when Broom Hilda was given syndicated life.
Here in the frozen north, we get those sort of “Springs” most years. Some last until June! In the years we don’t everyone worries about drought.
If you can’t change the weather, just rebrand it.
A magical example of marketing. I have heard from Wiccan friends that large groups of pagans, New Age energy mechanics, and Christians will join together in joint prayers to shove hurricanes away from populated areas and out to sea. I’ve seen enough of the smaller storms veer or fall apart in recent years to wonder if they may be doing some good.
The more things change. the more they stay the same. —And now we know why….
I didn’t know Broomie lived in Michigan
