The Rethuglicons have increasingly embraced any measures, including authoritarianism ones, to take and hold power. They have no concern about the principles guiding the U.S. nor governing to benefit all.

The Liability Shield is the biggy stopping the latest Covid assistance package from a vote in the Senate. They should include a Good Samaritan clause in the bill. In my state, and others probably, too, we have the Good Samaritan Law to protect those who give basic first aid to those in distress. So long as the aiders practice accepted procedures they can’t be sued. The same idea might protect companies that practice CDC guidelines regarding Covid 19 with their employees and customers.

Vaccines are on the way.. What happened to “Buy American”, totally surprised that AMERICA has to get its vaccines from some puny European country. Going to be a hard sell to get Republicans to accept a foreign vaccine, much like under trumps “genius” he refused to use established testing when the COVID first hit the world.
