And maybe most important: If they’re privatized, then there will be a way to hack the system when we end up mandating vote by mail. Right?

PS: Oregon has vote by mail, but ALSO has lots of free drop boxes placed so as to be convenient. And of course, it’s very inexpensive and very hard to hack (optical readers that are not only not “smart” but aren’t connected to the internet at all).

The summer before I started Nursing School, I was seriously broke. I got on with the Post Office as a clerk/carrier because They gave me 5 points preference on their exam for my VA disability.

So there I was for 2 months as a probationary employee until they found out I was going to school in September. They said I threw a letter case “too slowly” when they fired me.

If you have ever worked at the Post Office you would understand the boffo drollery of saying someone worked slower than a full-time clerk/carrier at the US Post Office.

I despise Republicans. It pisses me off to say this but a transformation of the U.S.Post Office like the Deutsches Bundespost transformed into DHL is a damn good idea.

PS: If you tried to do that there would be blood and guts all over the floor. The term “going postal” wasn’t dreamed up as twilight zone script.

Trump licking stamps? He must have searched hard to find them, since the USPS produced very few gummed stamps since 2002, and stopped in 2015. But I get McFadden’s joke.

It’s really sad when we have a president that doesn’t want Americans “voting” by mail because ‘someone" might figure out how to “hack the vote” while HE couldn’t figure out how to keep from going bankrupt while owning a gambling casino in a “gambling” state.

This speaks volumes not only about HIS MENTAL CAPABILITIES, but also about the “mental capabilities” of those STUPID enough to vote him into office – and there is a SPECIAL KIND OF IDIOCY involved in the mental processes in those who are trying to REELECT THE MAN who is actively trying to DESTROY America.

Please understand, we here in New Mexico occasionally elect a Senator, Representative or Governor who is a republican – usually for their “amusement” value. But we’re not so stupid as to give any of them real power to change anything of importance – we enjoy a good laugh as much as the next person but we try to be careful about the length of “leash” we have them on – our last republican governor (a woman – yes we do that, too) tried to introduce “voter identification” here. We already have several different ways to identify our voters and didn’t see any need to have yet another, so we didn’t say “no”, we just ignored the effort.

You see, we have had “representative” governments here long before America was ‘born’ so (like the insurance commercial says) we know a thing or two about how to balance out a government – and one of the first things we’ve learned is that, if you want a decent herd, you have to start out with good stock, to begin with and trust me, we knew that Trump was a “cull” from the first time we saw him.

The NRA will not be happy went the private postal service wants $7 to deliver a copy of the American Rifleman and $5 to deliver donation request letter and no mail too rural communities.

There are tons of veterans who work at the Post Office.

Why do Republicans hate veterans so much?

They never really fund the VA hospitals.

Getting rid of vote by mail will give me (and hopefully others) plenty of reason to NOT vote republican.
