At least I’m prepared. A dinner roll with Smart Balance Omega 3 Spread, a Smart Ones Microwaveable dinner with turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes, and a single serve sweet potato pie from Kelly B’s. No need for cranberry sauce, casseroles, other veggies, and other pies, since it’s just me.

Heck, I’m going to zoom to grandfather’s house (grandmother has passed to the other side).

This is the best take I’ve seen on the already-way-overused “we’re having Thanksgiving over Zoom this year” trope.

“To Grandmother’s house we Zoom” is catchier.

It’s kind of catchy if you sing it a couple of times in a row.

Not the Trumpers. The Covidiots are still traveling to grandmother’s house. TSA screened over a million air travellers per day this weekend, and airlines have said they expect air travel this week to be about 60% of normal.

my sister invited my daughter and I to a SMALL thanksgiving dinner. There will be 5 of us instead of the usual 18-20. My sister invited us because she knows WE are as cautious as she has been. My mother lives with her and mom just turned 87, so we are ALL very careful so we CAN come visit once in a while in person (this will be the second time since March instead of my usual 1 x a month). Sis and I are also both over 60 (I will be 64 in a few weeks) and both have heath issues as well. Sooooo. We have the mindset of better safe than sorry.
