And that’s how normalcy - not a real word, replaced the real one, normality.

And, of course, the POTG is still smiling.

jukeofurl, I got curious and did something I rarely do myself: look in a dictionary. Normalcy has been used in English since 1855-60. Normality, of course, is also a valid English word.

If all they eat is freeze dried or imitation, does that mean the bacteria is also freeze dried or fake?

Looks like the “robot” that Calvin and Hobbes invented several years ago, to clean their room for them.

And of course Cliff has been sitting right there the whole time. You don’t want to know how that chair smells by now.

How long is a Galactic President’s term? It looks like he has to run for re-election every year. What, no term limits?

Bucky’s following an old tradition here. “A chicken in every pot, a car in every garage” goes back to Herbert Hoover in 1928, but it’s not original with him. The original, roughly, “A chicken in every peasant’s pot, every Sunday.” is attributed to Henry IV of France, late 16th Century.

“I promise to put a chicken in every pot, and to legalize the container.”

Used in the children’s science TV show “321 Contact.” No kidding.
