It’s trying to tell us, Neener neener neener!
Encore: Dick Hoagland is on the phone…
You don’t want to be knowin’ what the moons be doing.
Shiver me timbers and prepare to board. Wench, bake some bread in the galley, the space pirates be eating tongue tonight.
Taunting is right…
People just can’t let this idea go, can they?
Artificial in the sense of pointing to a Supreme Intelligence rather than a merely created one?
I would love to see that demonstrated, but He has been so clever in putting natural laws into motion that we may yet come up with a plausible explanation as to how those asteroids got captured in such circular orbits naturally. If that can be ruled out, otherwise worthless rocks in such positions would be a good way of saying, “I’m here, guys!”
On the other hand, if the intelligence were of our genre, why stick asteroids in orbit? Why not something we’d recognize, like a derelict space station made of refined materials?
OK, I’ll shut up and go away… for now, hehehe… :)
A number of probes were sent to examine it closely, but each one was brought down by what appeared to be giant loogies.
So I thought I was following the Pibgorn directions to display the image but it didn’t work – a little help please?
See that! Take your eyes off it for just a second and you miss it!
