He said that in spite of his apology, GoComics has responded with a permanent ban.

and @Beau — for some reason I still can’t stop laughing over the phrase “the omniscience of jellybeans.” Um…. in spite of…. well…. you know…. the Reagan part and all…. (Cough)

Johnny — I only joined GoComics in April 2011 when Comics.com was about to shut down, in spite of a few people recommending it earlier.

And Sreejay, I have no idea.

I can’t post on FB myself, cos I’m still not a member (sorry rOdd and Guy, too)…

but I can’t imagine why a polite post or e-mail would get anyone banned anywhere, nor do I refrain from such anywhere for fear of it.

@Dogsniff: I’ve posted similar information at Calvin and Hobbes this morning. Good luck, and have a safe trip home from Florida.

today must feature a low interest toon, judging by the focus of the comments. I MUST caution those so inclined against signs that say “free dogsniff” in public areas. It seems most are not as sympathetic to the cause
