I love the snowstorm. it looks like santa with purple sunglasses! the tattoo is what truly makes it though.Iggy and Ora being lil darlings, and Elvis is gonna Elvis!

Snow… snow… Yes, I’ve heard of this thing called snow, and I sometimes (though rarely) admire it from afar.

Elvis, if you paid more attention to the Milanković cycles, you’d know that you are doomed to a lot more snow.

I do love bits like this where the cats get upset over stuff that WE know well and good they absolutely can’t control but as animals who can’t just.. ask the humans, they can’t. It’s part of the strips deft writing". This sort of barrier between the cats and humans is used intrestingly instead of as a crutch to avoid just having them talk for no understandable reason. (Peanuts is excluded from this as much like this strip having Snoopy not directly talk to the gang worked a lot like this, if still in it’s own magical way. )

Love that snow cloud graphic too. and Burt’s snark is great… though again I get it: Elvis dosen’t know how weather works. I mean Burt, buddy… just a few years ago timeline wise he assumed a blizzard meant the world was gone temporarily and Bea just heroically made her way through the void to them. You gotta give her time to explain you literally can’t control the weather. Then you can rag on him for being in denial when it likely happens. You have a fact checker now, you don’t have to deal with Elvis’ nonsense solo.

In this southern part of New England, we’ve hardly had any snow this time worth mentioning.

Although I remember one winter, rather long ago now, when it was like this most of the way, and we then got two feet in March.

I don’t like snow, but it has been sooo dry here that I can’t complain of all the snow we have received this year if it will help to fill up our lakes and reservoirs.

Holy Whiskers! That is one creepy snowstorm.

I just love the “Mom” heart tattoo on the cloud!

On the positive side, the California snowpack is the deepest in four decades. Or, to put it another way, it is 205 percent of the average for this time of year. The California drought isn’t over, not by a long shot. However, this will help the State.

The sunglasses indicate that it isn’t a cold front, but a cool front moving in.

Elvis believes that talking about snow storms makes them happen.

Is this an homage to the Blizzard of ’78? I was in Boston at the time and it wreaked havoc everywhere in, and around, the Boston area. Snow AND hurricane force winds.

A snowstorm would be purfect because I got really bad sleep last night.

I thought the cloud looked like a bad-ass Persian cat! Granted I’ve never seen a Persian cat with tatoo!

Here it’s just 40s and rainy. As all I had on tap today was laundry†, and it’s a good day for that.

† Besides YouTube videos, of course. Currently I’m mostly listening to a young woman discuss an album by a group I’ve never heard of, “Neutral Milk Hotel”.

It has been unseasonable snow-free here! Really warm and little accumulation. It is not uncommon for us to have 170" of snowfall in a season.

That is one mean-looking cloud, lol
