OT. Since last Sunday’s funday was doomed, I’m re-posting my bit here, for the benefit of those who didn’t see it. I would be failing in my duty if I did not give the basic arguments against eternalism. How could you cope? Life is tough enough as it is.

Just had the thought – what if Lupin, moved by jealousy and a feeling of justified reciprocity, swipes Goldie’s badge? Would he do that?

I presume the woman is calling Goldie “sheriff” simply because she saw Goldie playing with the badge. I don’t think she saw the kids pinning the badge on.

Sheriff Goldie or Sheriff Kitty, both have a nice ring to them and she looks so happy in the Woman’s arms. I bet she does a better job than Suzanne Summers did in “She’s the Sheriff” and Goldie is technically a Ginger not blonde like Suzanne S…….

Such joy in Goldie all through this strip. It made me giggle, although softly, so Paul wouldn’t hear me and wake up. Excuse me, I need to go take my meds, allergies are really bad this morning. Paul is doing well.

“Li’l Big”! I love it! Isn’t that exactly how we talk to our kitties? I had a foster kitten once whom I named Little Big Eyes.

By The Way; so far, so good with the Hubs battle w/COVID-19. He does seem to have the mild form. I tested negative…the big Six Five is this Oct, so the Dr said I should be tested. Thanks, a thousand thank yous, for all your hugs, purrs, head boops and loving messages. We are stocked enough for two weeks and our local grocery store delivers. We’ve been sleeping in separate rooms since a lil before Illinois’s 3/21 Shelter At Home edict, because we knew he’d have to go to work as long as his company could stay open, and figured maybe we could keep one of us from getting it. (We have friends in the Health Care system who warned us to batten them hatches, reef dem sails and prepare for a real Nor’easter. Guess they were unhappily correct.)

And yet, I doubt that Elvis will ever leave the building!

Everyone is worried about Lupin, but based on his eyebrows, Elvis may not like this turn of events. He does like to be the authority.

Hubby and I got our annual garden planted yesterday! He spent the weekend weeding and tilling. It’s a smaller garden this year. 25 x35 feet. I planted Tomatoes, pepper,s, eggplant, squash, cilantro, basil,sage, . I can or freeze all the produce for our use and mainly for use in our local soup kitchen meals. Last year we had a bountiful amount so this year I don’t have to put up as much. It’s a few weeks late to plant but I am so happy that hubby was able to do it. He is starting work on his doctorate. It will be a busy summer, but at least I’m home to do it.

Today is supposed to be No Homework Day. Unfortunately, that’s about all that’s left for many of us. Even though I’m retired, there is no such thing in my life as no homework. After all, everyone should have a hobby. That’s spelled h-o-u-s-e, for those who may not know. For those who do, my sympathies. For those who are just finding out (Hi, Skipper!): you was warned, pilgrims:

Goldie clearly knows what a badge is good for.

I had to take Romeo back to the vet today. He is simply not urinating correctly. It’s just drip drip drip. So he’s going to be catheterized and have his urethra cleared out. The vet said he had no more crystals in his urine and the PH was fine but he clearly isn’t well. He also said that if that doesn’t solve the problem, plan B is to surgically remove the distal third of his penis. (Ack!) I hate that idea, poor guy.
