Ooops! I mis-read the candy heart on Beatrix’s sign. It reads “Feb. 14th” but with my blurry eyesight this morning, I thought it read “Feed Me!”—-to be fair, that is what my cat considers a true act of love.

I love Lupin’s mug with the Heart on it. Let’s just hope it is decaf.

As the resident fact checker and researcher, I would have thought you’d come up with something a little more substantial than hearts, candy, and candy hearts….you were complaining just yesterday, and the first time Elvis comes to you for answers, you phoned it in (so to speak)…

We can thank valentines day for the proliferation of boxes of scrumptious chocolate smorgasboards. My favorites tend toward the coconut ones. Toasted coconut covered in milk or dark chocolate, coconut cremes, and recently a coconut panache. Alas, for me chocolate sometimes = migraines, can’t indulge a whole box.

Today is a most circular day: It’s Ferris Wheel Day, a day for going in circles, getting nowhere, and wondering if something is wrong with the vertical hold of the universe.

Personally, I’ve never seen the attraction of Ferris wheels, though at the time of their invention they must have been. The only way to get higher at the time was in a balloon.

It is also Valentine’s Day. If you celebrate it, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do …
