I love Puck’s apron and chef’s hat!
Sounds good to me!
O. M. C. Have we ever seen the boys in chef outfits before? Puck is even more adorable than usual! (squee)
We have an apple tree, and here in Southern California, the apples ripen in July. I forget what variety it is, but it’s from Bermuda, so as you can imagine, it doesn’t need a lot of winter chilling. It cranks out a lot of apples.
This year, my wife made six loaves of apple bread, and took all of them to our vets as thanks for all their work. I didn’t get a bite. I suppose it tasted OK, she’s been to the vet’s since then, and they didn’t lock the doors when they saw her coming.
Elvis will have so much to supervise!
I’m sure there will be dire consequences.
Isn’t Puck at his most cutest, again.

Spare me some leftover apple tarts, Woman.
Someone’s in the kitchen with Chef Pucky.
No apple cider? a little champagne yeast, a cork with a bubbler, 5- 10 days for some yummy fizzy alcoholic stuff!
Let’s not forget Apple Cider
Around here right now it’s Blackberries. There’s this blackberry stand in Mountain Home Village and we go there a few times a year and get blackberries and make them into various things. There is a recipe for a gluten-free pie-crust that is made with sour cream.
YESPLEASE!!! I love home made applesauce!
There is never enough applesauce with preschoolers in the house.
Don’t forget cold crisp apple slices for easing teething pain.
Is Puck still acting in the capacity of CN reporter or has he morphed into a sous chef?
Is that applesauce …. alive?
Time to have a Jack Rose and continue eating my Apfelstrudel. How do you like them apples?
The Jack Rose: Recipe and text by Rebecca Orchant
2 ounces Applejack
1 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce grenadine (Homemade, you guys. I insist. Combine equal parts unsweetened pomegranate juice and sugar in a mason jar. Shake the hell out of it, until the sugar dissolves. BOOM, you have grenadine.)
Shake well with cracked ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
From the Andrews Sisters, an oldie but goodie
Don’t go picking the apple trees without consulting me,
Without consulting me, without consulting me,
No! No! No!
We’ve so much fruit, it’s just a hoot
Too many apples to see,
So we’ll make plenty of apple sauce!
CN must have a food/cooking segment in their broadcast. Puck probably hosts that.
Chef Pucky is so adorable!
Shoo Fly Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy

Woman! WOMAN! Turn around, your applesauce is boiling over and making a mell of a hess!
I remember very early Georgia saying she thought of giving the boys their own television shows. I think she’s dropped the idea for now at least. However, my recollection is that Elvis, of course would be a conspiracy theorist, Lupin an adventure show and Puck a master chef!!!
I’m getting hungry.
“You can barbecue ‘em, boil ’em, broil ’em, bake ’em, saute ’em. There’s uh, apple-kabobs, apple creole, apple gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple apple, lemon apple, coconut apple, pepper apple, apple soup, apple stew, apple salad, apple and potatoes, apple burger, apple sandwich. That- that’s about it.”
OMG….how cute is Pucky in his chef outfit including the toque. I sure wish my 2 cars Sammy aka Sam axe and the princess Fiona aka snow paws, were that talented.
Georgia posted an adorable video of Lupin asking for pets:
Watch those cooking coils, ‘Goils’ … Or it’s into the cauldron for you!!
“There’s a Rat in Mi Kitchen, What Am I Gonna Do?! … There’s a Rat in Mi Kitchen, What Am I Gonna Do?!”
The woman has created Apple Heaven! I want to be in that kitchen!
The Woman looks so satisfied here.
OT in comments: medical update …
Does that “industrial cauldron” contain a metric bonker’s worth of apples?
(Then again, a cauldron brings up images of “Macbeth”… I picture Baba Mouse, Tabitha, and Beatrix [gotta have an apprentice, right?] reciting chants and casting spells as they stir in the ingredients.)
My cat Caramel loves applesauce.
Himmel und erde for dinner! Pucky likes potato salad, I bet he’d like himmel und erd, especially if topped with a little crumbled bacon.
Apple and ham, apple and bacon, apple and pork sausage ….
Oh, here we go again! Hit “comment”, and you get taken to the first page, again and have to go back to “show all comments”., and find you place… GComics has been really squirrely that way, lately. On Sunday, I just gave up after a while. I swear, it would jump around even if I didn’t hit a key or move the cursor! Does this happen to others?
When life gives you apples, make apple sauce.
They could also do cider, but they’d need a press of some kind.
I think I see two quiet little mice sneaking off with an apple!
I fooled everyone today. I ate before I read all the comments so I’m not bothered by so many suggestions for using apples. Ha!!! Of course if someone offered some to me, I wouldn’t say no.
what about apple turnovers, apple crumble, apple butter …
She’s got all the apples that money can buy.
She’s the apple of her catty’s eyes.
What’s this, The MasterChef Show on the BCN Network?
where did Nanna go?
Puck in an apron and chefs hat….. so cute! I think he has an outfit for every occasion, event, and activity.
Where does he keep them all and how does he keep them clean?
Regular grooming sessions?
Is it snuck into the people’s washing?
Is it sent out for dry cleaning?
The only one who could do “Mind of a Chef” or “Ugly Delicious” is Elvis—and Puck would be good with that. Hey David Chang, how about a spot with these two?
This reminds me, I need to make my Mom’s apple bundt cake.
