Eventually, you probably will; along with where you left your car keys, who that famous person was, and why you came into that room.
If you could only choose to forget things/events selectively, but alas, that is not how it works…..
Nobody goes to a psychiatrist to improve their memory. The whole process is to change your memories into a more tolerable form.
In fact, many people can agree with the line originated by Bob Seger, “Wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then.”
Just forget it!
If I could have a selective memory improvement, and just remember the good things.
