It seems that Gorrell is against applying anything equally. That is unrepublican.

Jackson, Mississippi has a crisis of clean water.

Like Michigan was when Flint’s water supply was crippled, it’s a Republican-controlled state and Republicans will always prioritize tax cuts for the morbidly rich over building or maintaining infrastructure(particularly in POC neighborhoods). Even in the face of climate-change-driven disasters.

Texas privatized most of their electric grid and then Republicans there passed a law letting the private power barons charge whatever the market will bear because their economic philosophy is that the best outcomes derive from the least regulation. When the climate-change-driven ice storm hit, hundreds died in the blackout and, afterward, some Texans got monthly electric bills that ran into the tens of thousands of dollars.

In twelve GOP-controlled states working people making around the minimum wage have no access to affordable health insurance because their non-union employers don’t offer it as a benefit and their states refuse to accept federal Medicaid money (which pays 90 percent of the costs).

Red states generally have the lowest levels of high school and college graduation because, of course, Republicans don’t think it’s the job of government to educate young people.

Nine of the ten poorest states in the nation are Red states.

Gorrell never lets a good lie go to waste. Harris didn’t say this; her comments about equity related to long term policy, not immediate disaster relief.

Winston Churchill was working to form the United Nations after WWII. He famously said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Gorrell reuses the one drawing of Kamala Harris he did

And copy/pastes this photo and flips it horizontally

“The White House said her comments about equity were referring to long-term, bipartisan investments in underserved communities, not immediate hurricane relief.”

Equality is not providing selective aid based on SKIN COLOR. In the real world, it’s based on NEED.

Your right Gor, the rich with second homes, insurance and plenty of options should get the same relief aid as those who lost their only rental home and have no cash in the bank.

While America’s tax-free ‘charities’ sit on their hands, and do nothing. One or two exceptions, out of thousands.
