From what I’ve read, facilities are beginning to receive reliable info about how much vaccines they will be getting and when, enabling them to do planning rather than just scrambling every time they get a shipment.

    Gorrell is just LYING. Again.

Maybe he’s thinking of the [non] plans of His Messiah.

At least they’re creating a plan, instead of ignoring the problem as a “hoax”…

Gosh. Delivering a vital medical service to 300 million people is complicated. Who would have thought?

A complicated plan is better than no plan at all. Or as my niece put it. I’ll wait for Mom to make cookies this afternoon…it’s better than not having cookies.

Patience, Bobbie. It takes a while to clean up the Trump mess but distribution is going increasingly well under new federal leadership. States are still doing their own thing but now have support.

This needs another panel, where the guy is saying, “Oops, sorry, that was Trump’s plan.”

Mass murderer Trump alone was responsible for 40% of the covid in the USA.

I believe it was a poster here on GoComics – but not on this cartoon – who said the area where he lived had 7500 people and received 500 doses of vaccine.

My BFF lives in the next county over and she and her husband have received their first dose. We are on a waiting list, and have been for a while. The four of us are around the same age (I am the oldest of the lot) and while her husband is seriously ill (let m count the ways!) the program under which they got their doses was simply county-wide, with no apparent consideration of anything but the fact that they are over 65. Now – their county has a much smaller population, which probably is a factor, but it all seems to be a coin toss.

Hey Little Bobby Gor-gor, that’s actually a chart of republican pandemic thought processes. The Biden administration is busy trying to correct all of the previous “administration’s” errors.

Actually, Biden is exceeding the numbers he set as goals for the vaccine rollout.

That’s what happens when an actual President who actually cares has an actual plan!

It’s been a long wait, seems like, but Spouse and I are scheduled to get our first jabs tomorrow… in a nearby county, not our own. That one is blue-collar / Maga-hat country, compared to our own more liberal university town. A deeper dive into the data though, suggests that the main difference seems to be demand. The two counties have similar population, but in ours, nearly everybody wants the jab, but nearby, there are a lot of idiot anti-vaxxers. Including, much to our chagrin, a daughter’s family.

Biden inherited no vaccine plan. Trump’s plan was to send the vaccines to states, and leave it up to the governors to do whatever, which lead to some like Ron Desantis distributing the vaccine to wealthier portions of Florida and locations of his biggest donors.

also it was Biden who secured a purchase of 200 million more vaccine doses:

and not President “i’m good at business” who passed on buying more Covid vaccines when he had the chance.

Don’t know about you Gorrell, but here in Kentucky we’ve got people getting immunized on a pretty healthy basis. Teachers are getting theirs, schools open four day a week classes next week. Health department has ads on TV and radio, how to get vaccinated. All you gotta do is call and get on the list.

I don’t think the problem is the plan, Bob. I think the problem is that you want there to be a problem.

Looks like Texas’ plan. I’m 81. I live in a bedroom county for Fort Worth-Dallas. Two supermarkets and 3 pharmacies got a total of 1500 doses. Finally this month the County Health Department announced they would be administering 1,999 doses a week. Call and get on the list. A friend with a disabled son called, got on the list and the next week was called with an appointment. She had to drive 60 miles and wait 6 hours to get the shot. She and her son had to wait in their car to receive a text when to go into the facility.
