Prince Valiant is one of my favorites! Great art and fun stories…. Someone there might lose a shield, but not a giant contact lens (didn’t have them back in the days of King Arthur, you know?).

I hate the concept of colored contact lenses, especially when the ads imply that brown eyes are unattractive and undesirable, which I have seen.
