This…THIS has been my favorite strip since the day it came out way back when. I’ve been waiting for it since you started this arc. To this day, every time I see see an odd couple, I think Billy Joel/Christie Brinkley. Thanks for the memories.
You know how the little shlub of a guy ends up with the hot girl.. He does what no other guy is willing to do. treat her like a person. treat her as the special person in his life.
He talked with her one night. And found that awesome beauty contained an intelligent person.
She found out that just because he look ordinary and could be missed in crowd. He was charming and was not just trying to get into her panties.
Take it from an old marry guy that may not be the best looking guy, but was willing to talk with a woman that was beautiful. If for no better reason than to pass the time at a boring party that was going no where fast. Never expecting to even get a date or even be able to “score”.
It will work, but you have to be honest and upfront about ones intentions in my own experiences.

Comedians and rock musicians, no matter how ugly, always attract the hotties. Opus is funny AND he’s in Billy & the Boingers. So there you are.
