A little soy sauce might make it edible.

There was one comedian who said that he wouldn’t eat anything that sounded like something that grew between his toes!

But then, Charles is also Italian, 40, and still living with his mother.

Not crazy about the texture, but it does pick up some flavors if you like Pad Thai or Hot and Sour Soup.

Excellent artwork, as usual, even if I don’t really get this one.

I’ve heard that nutritionists have made a 100% meat product that tastes just like tofu…

    Never serve tofu alone.

I have a thyroid condition that disallows anything soy based in my diet. Tofu and soy sauce are both soy based. Soy meat extenders are in almost every processed meat on the market {Thank Heaven for Hebrew National} and every can of food that comes into the house has been prescreened for ingredients, remember lecithin is derived from soy. It is a very sneaky food additive.

It’s an absorbent food with little taste of it’s own that takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it in. It’s high in protein and contains no fat. What’s not to like? If you don’t like it, you’re preparing it wrong.

Tofu is great in the right Thai dish. Takes on all the flavors and a great substitute for going meatless.

Nothing can make tofu edible, tolerable MAYBE, but not truly edible.

Back in the day, I made a tofu-based cake for my “hippie” friends. Everyone told me they liked it; no one asked for a second piece.
