Before George can react, the fellow with the pitchfork walks over to ask the lady why she thinks he has the authority, down here, to shut the door.
George speaks up: “She just assumed that I’m in charge.”
Surprised, the devil replies, “Here? In Hell? Why?”
George: “Because she gave it to me while we were on Earth.”
At this point the devil explains to her that one small part of her eternal torment will be to forever sit in a draft. George just smiles . . .
George should be in heaven for having to live with her.
