    It is called “petrichor”. The word was first recorded between 1960 and 1963, but gained popularity in 2010, when it was used as part of a password in an episode of" Doctor Who ".

    The kids look sort of squeamish, but what about the microscopic mites that live in the follicles of your eyelashes? Now that’s icky.

    I remember this whenever I am enjoying chocolate. I wish I could forget it when I clean out the horse’s stalls or the chicken coop.
