Biographic Steve McGarry Emilia Clarke Born in London on May 1, 1987, Emilia Clarke graduated from Drama Centre London - whose alumni include Paul Bettany, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth - in 2009. That same year, she made her TV debut in an episode of the BBC soap opera "Doctors." The following year, Emilia earned great reviews for her performance in the low-budget syfy channel movie "Triassic Attack." Her big break came when she landed the role of Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO fantasy drama "Game of Thrones." The TV series debuted in 2011 and was an immediate sensation, gaining huge acclaim and a worldwide army of fans. Nominated for an Emmy in 2013, Emilia seems poised for major stardom. Having Appeared as Holly Golightly in a Broadway production of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" last year, she can currently be seen opposite Jude Law in the film "Dom Hemingway" and has been cast in the pivotal role of Sarah Connor in the eagerly anticipated "Terminator: Genesis" movie.
