A costume arc is ALWAYS fun, and alongside some unique costumes (especially loving Francis as Col. Sanders!) This is a pretty decent gag! Who coulda guessed Nate’s map was flawed except everybody XD

Strip rating: 2/10 I never really liked the Halloween comics. I always found them to be pretty boring.

I’ll give the strip 5 stars! Brings back memories. Whoever thought Neco wafers were a good idea for a candy? I remember a few things about Halloween as a kid: I was a ghost, could walk all over our small town, and ended up with a pillowcase full of candy, and the best treat was the popcorn balls made by the old couple on the corner.

10/10! What’s not to like? Great costumes! Nat’s very clever making people think about it. The best-laid plans of mice and Nate oft go astray! Last year King Size candy, this year single Neco wafers?? Couldn’t be funnier!

My Dad grew up during the Great Depression (born in 1922). He never threw anything away. Had a big metal barn/shed filled with worn out and basically worthless stuff. I could see some of it being of use to someone although heaven knew where that someone was…

Amazing costumes! So creative and the pun is pretty witty. Teddies is honestly the best one with Francis at second and Nate, though a good costume at dead last

I guess Nate is supposed to be a werewolf or something, I can’t really tell. The other two are spot on, though. Those are some French Kiss costumes.

Yes, my kids used to get those, and they were the first discards after they got home. We didn’t even put them back into the bowl to give away to the later stragglers. Did you know that those wafers are good for cleaning the toilet bowl? Yes, they are just like that fizzy stuff you buy for it, and I never had to, thanks to that “candy” and they made it smell like candy too….

That doesn’t mean you can’t hand out legit candy.

Let’s see: Teddy is Mr. Peanut, Francis is Col. Sanders and Nate is the Wolf Man. Right?

My dad grew up during the Depression, he just died this summer at 95. And he would never have been cheap with trick-or-treaters.

Why isn’t nate also going trick or treating with Daphne?
