I wish there was a poem for back-to-school

Where’s Daphne

Peirce hasn’t shown us Nate’s reunion with Daphne, then? Surely Nate ought to be walking on air, since Daphne must be back from camp – and the two of them should be walking down the school corridor together, as happy as anything! What’s the point of even introducing Daphne, if Peirce is so reluctant to use her?

I actually do like this punchline, even if I agree this could be a pretty predictable arc.

I was really hoping for his last day of summer being more than his grandma telling him a quote

Yet it could still be the best day of his life…

Bloody ’ell, this arc is starting to get bad.

It could also be the LAST day of his life.

I have a feeling someone saying “It’s my first day of school” will get more likes and replies rather than a comment actually relating to the strip.

“Loitering”? Dude, it’s a SCHOOL HALLWAY. Class is prolly not in session yet.

Strip rating: 3/10 Coach John just DECIDING to act like a jerk ruins the comic for me.

I kinda do want to see Daphne again and the punchline is just decent 4/10

She could still be right and maybe even the thought for the day could ultimately be right….

It’s not chilling if it’s very clear that it’s wrong.

On the other hand, it’s nice to see that nothing has changed here.

Daphne’s “camp” was actually a kidnapping. She has been locked in the torture chamber and that’s why she’s gone.

Prediction: the rest of this week jokes about the quote a day, only for Saturday to have Daphne show up and Nate reads out a quote that is actually positive or something

i actually noted this one coach johns face is hilarious and the jump scare is funny
