This is a 2-week arc, isn’t it.

First off, Yesterday: 5/10.

This might be the first time in ages that arc spans more than one week. I’m excited, but also know that this is big nate. As much as it has a chance to be great, it also has a chance to be awful.

Nate would’ve guessed the password to be “G0Dz1lla-666”

I like the way they walk, as in panel 3.

Nate thinking that Mrs Godfrey is the second coming of Satan is just ridiculous. She has not been mean to him in the past 3 years.

3.4/10 If Pierce is making this a two-week arc, then it better be worth it.

I would hope it’s a regular door. It would be way too complicated if it had a four-digit password.

You know, I wouldn’t mind a week of single strips that have nothing to do with each other, just like how it used to be before.

Dee Dee, your great.. but you brought this on yourself. You just gotta accept that Nate can’t remotely empathize with Godfrey nor see her as human, as to him she’s the person who constantly tears into him, makes his life harder and personally dislikes him. To you.. she’s just a somewhat strict if ultimately good hearted teacher.

I also get both sides of the conflict: Godfrey is right to be annoyed with nates constant slacking off, antagonism of her and general lack of enthuasim or effort for her class, when being a teacher is hard enough. On nate’s side he is right she has it out for him at times: she has been cordial sometimes, so she TRIES, but it’s also clear she’s let things get personal and targets him at times, and while it’s undrestandable an 11 year old child would take the feud personally, a teacher should TRY to be above that.

Yeah, right. It’s Mrs. Gibson’s fault that Nate’s such a poor student.
