the band arc was extremely promising, and i thought for sure it was going to go on for another week, but we get this instead

every promising arc ends quickly and every mediocre arc takes 4 weeks

Sometimes I just sit and wonder about stuff like, “What does he keep in that locker.” I know there are some valuable stuff, but how does he get it. I mean, he filled up his locker, so he found those artefacts. And Nate’s always complaining about not getting enough money, so why not sell them? And I mean for big money, not just a dollar.

Now, about the comic, the joke is stale, and the delivery is kind of bad. And I’m not too excited about the arc, because it could just be Nate complaining, but I can’t say that for sure.

3/10 Weak joke, even weaker delivery, and a bad arc opener.

It’s just as well because I’m taking a two-week break from Big Nate and GoComics. As some of you here might know, I write a book series called Ned Dickens (the namesake for my account). Right now I’m working on an activity book, and I want to take a break from Big Nate for two reasons: 1. so I can focus on just the activity book throughout this month, and 2. because the Big Nate show shorts and a few recent comics are a bit too rebellious. Why is that bad, you may ask? Well because I tried to make my character a little more rebellious by my parents rejected that, saying it’s inappropriate for my target group; younger kids who can easily imitate stuff. So for the next two weeks, I’ll be absent from the wiki and GoComics, not returning until February 28. I’ll catch up with commenting the Big Nate comics. Sadly this also means I won’t be around for the BN show premiere. It probably won’t be here until later in my country anyway. See you in two weeks, all! – Ned Dickens

Since no one bothered to say it, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!Wish they made a special (and origional)arc for Valentines day but this arc is boring and stale. I can’t find the punchline. I hope they dont make a new book because it would al be the same jokes. If I had to rate todays strip, 4/10

Nate and Randy are at school

Nate: I still don’t get why we had to come here two hours early!

Randy: We need to make a plan before the prankster gets here.

Nate: OK.

Nate and Randy carefully walk around air vents to get to the camera

Nate: There it is!

Nate looks in his locker wile Randy watches the tape

Nate: My dye, whipped cream, eggs, donuts, and a whole bunch of other stuff is gone!

Nate: I know it was here yesterday!

Randy: Nate, there is nobody shown going into your locker except you at the end of school right after we set up the camera.

Nate: Ok, I didn’t want to tell you this, but my locker has a secret passage inside it. The prankster might have gone through there!

Randy: How about we put another camera in there?

Nate: Ok

lincoln set us up for what could be one of the greatest arcs this comic has seen since like 2019, and gone. poof. and we’re back to “heehoo locker dirty.”

last time a locker dirty arc was good was the mess off or whatever with like Kyle or what’s his name.

at this point, either he’s focusing on the show or is burning out

just stop getting expectations for arcs.
