Impeachment is really hard, Nate. You have to have a good reason for impeaching the president, get the rest of the student council to agree with making impeachment an option and you have to get most of the students in P.S.38 to vote for impeaching the president.

Also, I’m pretty sure that’s not an option in a middle school.

I’m all for giving anyone a chance at the beginning but if she screws up down the road, get her out……

I want to mention another large problem I have with Big Nate: How much Nate appears. I skimmed all the strips from October 2020 – Now, and found that out of around 365 strips and who knows how many arcs, a whopping two arcs have minimal focus on Nate, which are these arcs:

Using the number of comics in each arc, I found out that around 9.15% of comics in the last year don’t primarily involve Nate. I honestly think that this is a big problem with the recent comics. I get that Nate is the main character, and seeing him this often can be fine, but the blandness that he and the other characters have makes the comics get stale quickly, even just by this time frame alone. Either a larger focus on other characters or more personality put into Nate would solve this.
