To be fair, the position of president is about who’s best for the job, not voting for someone who’s cute.

Instead of griping about how bad this arc has become, I’ve now made my own version of it:

Chad beats Gina by a landslide, and becomes president. Now, Nate wants Chad to keep his position, and encourages Chad to think of something to do like in the Soup Kitchen arc. Chad attempts to think of something, but fails to think of anything.

Then, Chad decides to use his cuteness to help fund for a cat shelter (because Chad has a cat), and while Nate disapproves, the school faculty likes the idea, and also sets up a bake sale to help. Soon, Chad uses his lethal cuteness and collects hundreds of dollars for the shelter.

I’d consider this a call-back to when Nate was elected, and what he did to help and prove himself worthy of president.

im torn between liking chad or not…I thought Chad was a fine, fun, and positive character and didn’t really pay attention to him that much before…but then I looked at these comments and I realized how 1-2 dimensional his character is.His character really only cares about food and is cuteness, as more than 300 comments have said this. In the comments, there is either someone who hates chad, or loves chad. I don’t know whether to hate or love him. I guess I can like his character while still acknowledging that he is a 1-dimensional character that Peirce doesn’t ever develop. Please no hate for this, from either side. But I do think Chad should have been President, since we haven’t really gotten much of a continued story since that Nate duplicate back in June.
