For the people who read my comment (that I wrote in yesterday’s edition of Big Nate) that want more context to what happened so here’s some more details.So I wrote my crush a 7-page long poem that I spent about 3 weeks writing, honestly like 80% of the poem was just me ranting about how I hate myself, but I edited most of that out and I kept the parts about the crush in the poem. I read it out to her and she told me “wow (my irl name) that’s really nice, I really like you too, like I mean you have some balls to do that, only thing is that I like you as a friend” So yea.

I gotta say Nate, that was a pretty good pickup line, almost as good as ‘Hey, are you a brain tumor? Cuz your stuck in my head.’

Got my first vaccine yesterday! My arm’s a little sore but otherwise, I’m fine. Going back to the comic, I feel like Nate would say something like that without the detective costume.

I hate to give Nate credit because he was an idiot, but that’s actually a decent line for a detective theme.

I notice that Francis has fled the scene……Jeez-Louise, TGIS!! (thank God it’s Saturday, here’s hoping this arc is ending & that Nate will put that ridiculous costume away once more…….)
