They said all the sixth graders were invited. Just because Gina is obnoxious in class doesnt mean she wouldnt be invited, or the others not treating her nicely.

But I just got the feeling that Nate will run into Trudy, with some others talking about the party – and he will then be either really truthful, or lie for her sake. Also that we will in some way get back to the line Trudy said to begin with that she would never act like the stuck up seventh grader to Nates sixth grader.

You can tell it’s just another adult who doesn’t know kids writing about kids when it goes like this for this long. Sure, 6th and 7th graders aren’t necessarily all buddy-buddy, but no one’s going to make a huge issue out of having a friend or bf/gf in another grade. Good grief. Find another story angle.
