Hey, THERE'S and oldie but a goodie! From the summer of '68, that was "Lovin' the Pain Away" by Jonas McBirdie! 1968, people! I mean, we're talking ANCIENT HISTORY! If YOU were around back then...well, I'll put it this way: those were the days my friend! They were certainly GOOF days for Jonas McBirdie! But the decades SINCE then have not been kind! He NEVER had another hit! Oh, he TRIED...but the magic was gone! He eventually was reduced to working as a casino greeter in Atlantic City, New Jersey! But at least he had his 15 minutes of fame, right? At least he accomplished SOMETHING with his life! I came outside, and this is how I found him.
