The only exception to the rule is the case where the home team comes from behind in the final inning to win, in which case there is no final out. In short, there’s no situation in which the losing team would be in the field catching the final out.
And my six year old son got a weeks detention for hugging a girl who didn’t want to be hugged at a track practice, and put on probation. If he did it again, he would have been thrown off the team.
