A radio announcer was reading an ad on the air, and actually pronounced it as “do not”.

As far as I’m concerned anything on it that isn’t cinnamon sugar is heretical.

Dough naught or dough zero is the original name. Makes more sense that nut. But in the end, who cares? I want some now!

Maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene could have used the same app as Betty to spell Martial Law (Marshall Law). Just how dumb is she.

There are many words where the spelling has been simplified in the US. This tradition goes back to colonial days and unfortunately hasn’t gone far enough.

I went to pick up doughnuts from a local store. The guy ahead of me was picking up each one to examine it and then put them back. He got very mad when I suggested that he use the tongs provided; no one wants someone else fondling their pastries.

Doughnut is too hard for people to spell. So it got dumbed down.
