Some years ago, there was a news report that the “666” in the Bible was a mis-translation, and it should have been “616”. 616 is the area code for the area around Grand Rapids, Michigan. I had this image of Satan sitting in his living room in Grand Rapids (for some reason decorated in mid-1950’s modern) staring at his phone and saying plaintively “They promise me their souls, and I wait and wait but they never call…” Then he looks at his business card and says “six SIX six?!!!” No WONDER they don’t call !!"
