I kept myself awake doing that driving cross-country in the winter. I cracked the window & flicked out each husk.When I arrived, the back seat looked like Ben’s floor, but messier. Wind dynamics flicked each husk back int o the car.

My husband is very neat when he eats pistachios, but one night accidentally left the small bowl of shells on the end table next to his chair. One of our cats ate some & made himself sick. One vet hospitalization & $1100 later he was fine, without surgery, thank goodness. We are now even more vigilant, after what we refer to as " The Pistachio Incident."

I’m thankful they aren’t all dyed red anymore.

US, Iran, & Turkey are the world’s largest pistachio producers. We’ll see how the US fares after California mines its aquifers dry. This year’s snow pack will ease the pain, but on average, it’s more water out than in.

You should at least hide the evidence.

I wonder how he got them in such a neat pyramid. You can get them without the shell but what fun would that be!!!!

He needs a real shellaking…

I’m glad they’ve stopped putting the red dye on the shells because they were a royal PITA to clean off your fingers!

It looks like Ben needs to get the “no shell” kind.
