Hum, children being interested in reading sounds like a dangerous thing https://www.archives.gov/legislative/resources/education/comic-books What next? Critical thinking, reason, logic, all leading down to science and atheism and we know what some section of the community think about that.

When comic strips are groundbreaking, they begin to influence and inspire new creators to put their own spin on it. Everything that was new in said property becomes copied and improved upon. For instance: Peanuts had a major influence on the world and led to the slice-of-life genre in the 90s and early 2000s.

A current strip, so it could be implying that Prez. Delaware-Joe reads Bear with Me!

Comics have long had a commentary on society. and the human condition. The best ones last forever. I predict a long future ahead for this strip.

Please, no White Houses. My late mother-in-law sent a copy of my compilation graphic novel to the White Houseto ‘cheeer things up’, during the Clinton years. Never more humilated in my life.
