    My family’s first tv was a Motorola. We bought it in 1956. It lasted 25 years with only an occasional repair needed.

    I have a book called Window To the Future which features classic ads for TVs from magazines. Yes, several wordy ads tried to promote the idea that television is good for children.

    The Headed and the Motorola Ad look like from the 1940’s. Bob Scott was probably not born yet. Motion Picture Comic #108 was from 1952 but does not have the same header or Motorola Ad and of course not the “Bear with Me” comic.
