How inconvenient (and perhaps heartbreaking).

It’s a weird set up for people who were living in each others’ pockets. Hope he gets let down easy, if that’s even possible.

he shouldn’t have hesitated on his answer the day she showed him her bike and wanted to ride together….

Decisions need to be made on both sides.

Is this where he loses his second girlfriend? Or will he go in and confront her?

I’m just wondering if there is some logical reason she didn’t Baldo to go with her?

Is Estella leading two lives? She is throwing a party and he wasn’t invited. Not sure its family. I think she is embarrassed to be seen with him by her friends.

The black fellow and the blonde have been highlighted in both party scenes; simple continuity?.. or a clue? [DOM -Dom – dommm….]

I haven’t read all of the comments this week, but I don’t see anyone addressing the fact that no one there is wearing a mask. Is Estella worried that this party could be a “super-spreader”? And is she trying to protect Baldo from it?

Okay, I went back to Tuesday’s strip, and saw milqueto’s post, mentioning COVID.

If you’re wondering how they met, the arc began August 23, 2011 (Note: you might lose a weekend if you try clicking forward to find the next appearance after that first arc.)

Is this a single family home? It looks huge. Is it Estella’s home? Baldo stops there so it must be where Estella lives. The house does not fit in with the other homes in the neighborhood.

A main tenet of many shows is that the suspense in the plot would be avoided if people simply communicated clearly with each other; a series of missed information leads to assumptions that cause misunderstandings to be resolved. I wonder if the impending disappointment could have been avoided.

What will Baldo do with the single red rose? He’s outside her home! So close, yet so far!
