This is why you teach yourself to rebuild them yourself.
Baldo youre 16, if you live at home, continue to work for Rod and put most of your income toward your car.tap . . . tap . . . tapIt’ll be finished by the time you’re 30.
Baldo: “Lord yes!”
It’s time to learn how to rebuild your own.
And that price does not even consider the transmission Baldo wants for his dream car.
The whole project makes no sense. A much better one would be an older car, running and driving, that Baldo could use and customize as he had time and money. I don’t see how this will ever go anywhere. Literally.
Maybe Rod will give you an employee’s discount. Maybe. Or not. I don’t know.

Memories—A 1935 chev – pulled the pistons, replaced the rings and good to go. there was a time when a school boy could keep them running.
Baldo, just buy a used 4 speed or Auto transmission for 250 -500 dollars and a rebuild kit for 150-200 and do it yourself, much more satisfying and much cheaper.
