I was a journalist at one point, did the photography as well. My English major daughter would proofread when I wasn’t sure about something. The editor said he liked my writing because he knew he could print everything as I submitted it. I was so excited the first time I got a byline.
The guy in the lower left is one of the multitude of Kens that inhabit Tackleford and environs. He’s been a recurring face in the Cormorant newsroom at least since “The Case of the Unwelcome Visitor”. I have a suspicion that he’s the sports guy, but I have no real basis for that, other than that he looks like all the sports reporters at the newspaper I used to work at.
