DC supervillains kill and maim countless victims and yet the DC superheroes all just capture them and put them in prisons or asylums where they can plan and plot and break out and do it again. It gives a skewed view of the justice system as it exists in that comic book universe.
Batman, you live in a cartoon universe at the mercy of the whims of a Creator who decided to name said universe bacon. Strange is the order of the day.
