Nikita Khrushchev was First Secretary of the USSR, and he did look like a big bumbling bear.. There’s a great scene in the movie Stalin where Stalin and a few others make him ‘entertain’ them.
I remember from first grade being told delivering pizza would earn more money than creating and building cars. Likely the same group of people wrote the book about the bear.
