Aw, I miss my kids being this age. I miss little fun family outings like this. When you’re in it you feel like you will never have a day to yourself… it’s always super crazy busy with so many things going on… and then suddenly one day poof they are all grown up and leaving the nest. It’s a very weird time. I’m just getting into that and can’t say I enjoy it very much.

Since we were little, we’ve all been taught to “Use the bathroom before you leave”. I’m 65 y.o. and still use it before I go anywhere out of the house, even to mow the lawn.

I’ve gone to a couple of conventions like this (not in costume) (PaxWest, Sakura Con), but they are just so crowded, it’s just not very fun…

I have to give Wanda credit for getting on board in such a major way — from the last couple of strips, I didn’t think this was really her kind of thing.

Went to the Steel City Comicon about 7 years ago. To me the only part really worth it was the Q&A sessions with various artists. Anthony Daniels (C3PO) was IMHO the most entertaining artist we heard. The beautiful Barbara Eden was also interesting. We also saw Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty (absolutely beautiful women from Charmed) where Ms. Doherty literally saved my life. She asked a guy who had brought in a scrapbook to stand up and said “You get a kiss”. I said (louder than intended) “Shoot, we’ll all stand up”. She turned and beamed at me and said “You get a kiss, too!”. But alas I never got the kiss. And judging from the look on my wife’s face, that saved my life. Had I gotten that kiss, she would have killed me.
