Some people are lucky to have good genes. Most people aren’t and the golden years are more tin years. I know people who still run marathons in their 70s. My asthma makes me wiped out after mowing the lawn.
I remember (long, long ago) when I could assume the Lotus position, then do a three-point headstand. NOT NO MORE! Putting on socks is a challenge — how did my arms get so much shorter? (—
Right now I am in the same state. Want to try to go to a boulder hall in the future. Have still about 20 years left to tackle that big wish. May or may not happen.

Please don’t do it standing up. Fell and broke my hip trying to put on a pair of slacks that way.

I am sitting down when I do that.

I don’t worry about that. It’s one of the perks of going commando. ;-)

But it’s good practice for balance! I do it standing up and I’m in my 70s. By the time I’m 90 I’ll probably be sitting down for it.

I can’t even stand on one foot for more than a second or two.

Every time I read this comic I feel like I’m looking in the mirror and listening to myself talk.

I’d be OK if I could just not get the band caught between two toes.

You should feel good if you can still do it standing up.

The trick is to get one leg in one leg hole.
rbullfogg 5 months ago
Well I know that feeling. Try doing it with 2 hip replacements.

I’m happy if I can get them on, without putting both legs through the same hole.
