Many parents feel that that will happen.

Well, actually, I’ve seen kids “explode” when told no. But they learn to get over it, if the parent doesn’t cave.

Not literally, but they sure do figurately

We are raising our 13 year old granddaughter, they are highly combustible at that age

Doesn’t stop us from saying no

Some kids do “explode” when told “no”, but that’s generally a behavior they’ve learned from their parents.

Some children may. Wrap them in a blanket and send them to their rooms.

I think Mark Twain said, “A teen-aged boy should be put in a barrel and fed through the bung-hole until he’s 21. Then plug up the hole.”

And Auntie’s a prime example of what can happen if you don’t.

They can explode if you don’t listen and they have a lit firecracker superglued to their nose.

But you’ll tramatize them.

They will collapse into a pile and Fizz for a couple hours.

True, Aunty. During the terrible twos, their favorite word is, “No!”
