I’m a blond boy who traditionally would get an uncomfortable sunburn at the start of each summer. One summer I really worked at getting a deep, dark tan. Well, I guess for me it was a “deep dark tan” but to people who didn’t know me it was just “slightly off-white.”
Many, many moons ago when I was living in the Bay Area (Berkeley, CA) I worked at, and got, what for me was a deep, dark tan. To anyone not familiar with what my complexion was before that “tan” it just looked slightly off-white.
