Years back, there was a National Geographic article on people who. are allergic to cats. The author said “Don’t let your cat onto your furniture or bed” and I laughed out loud. The writer obviously never was owned by a cat. “Let” them on the bed… riiiiiiiiiight…

Haven’t heard bupkes for years, means “nothing or the least amount necessary”

I like Luddie much better than Janis, handsome and never cynical.

Mine is the Red Cat standard for this.

After my husband died last January, when I came home, both cats jumped up onto my lap when I sat down. They’d never done that before, and they stayed for hours. I think they knew.

Cats are plenty busy creating wood designs on furniture and door frames, keeping you aware of time, esp. feeding time, And batting things under the couch. Mine are particularly good at playing with sun beans, giving me head butts, and purring in my lap. They make me happy, and I hope I make them happy. My pets make my life better

How can you tell? lol

I wouldn’t call being a companion doing nothing.

I leave my garage door open often, my neighbour has 2 cats, I have no mice

Aw, I guess that’s why people like me.

Our house-cat bangs her little head

against the storm door window pane

She forgets that it’s a barrier

At the edge of her domain

She really wants that chipmunk

But she’s an indoor kitty

We won’t give in to her demand

Nobody does nothing better.

But how do you know when they’re done?

It’s is said the average house cat sleeps 16 hrs a day, 18 if it is a good day.

If we all did “nothing “ as well as cats, the world would be a calmer and more peaceful place.

What about zoomies? our ninja kitty gets the zoomies twice a day. So much action in a small package.
