Who put the band-aids on Janis? Ludwig? Where did the scratches that the band-aids are covering come from? Ludwig? I’m sorry, Jimmy, I still have questions.
AFAIK I haven’t walked in my sleep for almost 40 years. It happened when I was not getting enough sleep because of work pressures. I never remembered it but my wife tells me I walked and even talked fairly well. Apparently I couldn’t do much else.
I sleepwalked my first night in Japan. The 11 hour flight had left LAX about 4 pm, and I only catnapped on the plane. Then there was the stress of sleeping in a barracks-type room with about 20 others… I woke up when I tried to enter a closet.
When you go back to the Jan 4 strip, you’ll notice that Janis’ eyes are closed and Ludwig is looking at her walk by. I didn’t notice that the first time I looked at the strip.
I only walked in my sleep one time in my 74 years. When I was a kid about 10 my Dad was going to buy a new Mercury Monterrey. It would have been our first new car. I don’t remember sleep walking but Mom and Dad told me they woke me up trying to open our front door in the middle of the night. When they asked where I was going I told them I was going to go get our new car. In the same way my parents protected me two paws up to Loodie for protecting Janis.
I had an uncle that was in the Battle of the Bulge. My cousin was a couple of years older than me. He said his father was still bothered about having someone attacking him while he was sleeping. My cousin said he was woke up by the sound of a shotgun racking a shell one night and found himself standing in the living room and his father coming in with the gun. He wasn’t kidding. My uncle spent many times at the VA in Houston. He finally got over his problems. Wound up being a Preacher.
When my daughter was a baby, I woke up in the morning, realizing she had slept through the night, but when I got up, there was an empty baby bottle in her bed. My husband swore I got up and gave her a bottle. This happened several times….then one night I woke myself up because I spilled milk on myself while filling her bottle in the kitchen.

Any reason she wouldn’t just sleep walk down the stairs and on out to the kitchen?

Pretty mundane ending for a Jimmy J arc. I’ll wait until Monday.

I think the past tense for sleepwalked should be sleptwalk.

Is this arc going somewhere dark? Comic characters don’t usually develop new behaviours without specific intent.

There was an episode of House with a woman who had sex with her Ex in her sleep. Rug rash, hickies, and pregnancy.

Sounds like you need a barrier for the stairs or it’s time to downsize and not have a 2 story house.
