I have a friend who attracts mosquitoes like crazy. I always stay close to her outside. It keeps me safe. It used to be me – I guess our body chemistry changes over time.
Since we did not go out of the house between March and mid May other to get mail from box in front and even then did not think abut the back yard. We don’t have a lawn as we put in a semi-circular drive to deal with parking a thir vehicle – we did not think of what was growing in the back yard until we needed something from the garage back there.
Weeds were small trees almost my height (5’1). Grass about waist high. Poison ivy started to climb the house. Not able to deal with it. We will wait and have to call for help before next spring starts -when hopefully we will comfortable going to the bank and getting extra money out of savings to pay for it.

Did he just swat a mosquito? Looks like two possible targets.

Mosquitoes like my wife better than me; I’ve had to do that several times.

Well is entering his second childhood, and he is playing Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I think “Indiana Arlo” would have used his bullwhip to kill the mosquito.

You’d better have the mosquito corpse as proof Arlo.

I’m glad Arlo’s missing legs from the first panel didn’t keep him from rushing to the rescue.

Mosquitoes kill more humans every year than any other creature. Including other humans.

Any head hunters hiding in that bush?

I have to do that with my wife too. She is like a mosquito magnet! She’ll spray herself down with repellent and still get attacked.

It would have been more impressive if Arlo had killed that mosquito with a bull whip.
