Arlo: How's the wardrobe changeover going?
Janis: It's out of control!
Jeans and a t-shirt or polo. Works for all seasons.
Boots, add a flannel shirt, used as a sweater…That’s my uniform…It’s very versatile…
Sorcerer’s Apprentice reference — that’s so Mickey Mouse!
I’m more like Janis, I have to put away shorts, tank tops and some short sleeve tops in favor of sweaters and things for myself and two daughters.
Where’s the little guys with buckets?
I know what you mean, just did it last week because, at last, it was getting cold. Temperatures shot up again so have to move it out again. Unseasonably warm here.
First thought of Goethe, but after thinking about the clothes Janis is wearing it’s pretty clear that it’s intended to be a reference to Disney, not the original.
Love the running trousers. :-)
Time for a run to Goodwill…..
Add a little music and…
I also go with tee shirt and jeans all year, sweatshirt over as needed. Husband, however, wears long sleeve business shirts in winter and short sleeves ditto in summer – even though he no longer goes to work as they are the only shirts can find that fit. I therefore have to deal with with changing his shirts for him twice a year.
Terrific drafting and cartooning, especially in the second panel. JJ at his best – wonderful!
